What are you doing New Year's Eve?
New Year's Eve... a time to review your personal success' for the previous year and set a plan for the upcoming year.

What about your marketing plan?  It's time now to begin reviewing areas of growth for your business. Growth begins with good marketing!

Developing a marketing plan is fairly simple if you break it into steps.
Step 1: Start by asking yourself a few questions:

• What areas need more attention?
• How can I get a better response to my sales calls?
• Do I want more traffic to my site?
• Where can I find more customers or clients?
• How can I have better informed clients without spending time educating them myself?

Step 2:  Start a list of ways to meet these challenges.  

If you're not sure how to solve the issues you've identified, it's time to educate yourself.

• Start asking friends and colleagues what they do or who they work with.
• Take classes and seminars to learn more about the areas you've identified.
• Go to the hundreds of valuable web sites, forums and blogs that address your questions.

By learning about what's out there and what others are doing, you can decide what you can do yourself, when to work with marketing professionals and how best to allocate your funds.
