| We work with a wide variety of clients but we especially seek out businesses that are committed to values beyond profit. Whether our clients are sustainable or green, or they incorporate practices to improve our health, community or the environment; Pylon Studios is happy to assist them in promoting their products and services. We believe that design, creativity and innovation can drive change and generate new, renewable energy sources that develop new products, new businesses and new jobs. From our point of view sustainable thinking, conservation and profitable businesses are not mutually exclusive. It's our goal to do business the way we live: by using no more than we need, respect those around us and tread lightly with a small footprint. Although this is hard to accomplish in the modern world; we believe that design, creativity and innovation can drive change, generate new ideas and leave things in a better state than the way we found them. Pylon Studios is a green business In 2006 we went through a series of audits by the city of San Francisco Department of the Environment. These audits included water use, energy use, equipment, lighting and cleaning supplies. We developed and submitted a green business policy statement similar to a mission statement as part of the process. It lists policies and practices that we have adopted. Feel free to read it here. |
